On beautiful days, where the sun parts through the clouds to shine down on the changing leaves, it seems like nothing can make the day even more spectacular. Yet, Tricia and Matthew managed to do just that at their fall wedding at the Castle In The Clouds. Against a backdrop of fall-hued trees and just in front of a scenic pond, this couple celebrated their love with friends and family.
A First Date to Remember
Matthew and Tricia met during their second year of pharmacy school and decided to attend a Jason Mraz concert together a few short weeks later. The pair had a great time singing and dancing along, and the evening was filled with smiles and laughter. From their first date, the couple has enjoyed countless unforgettable moments and plenty of fun. Eight years later, Tricia and Matthew solidified their forever together, and we are so thankful to have been part of the unforgettable day!
A Stunning Day at a Mountaintop Estate
The wedding day kicked off with both parties getting ready and the couple having their first look at The Sutton House Bed & Breakfast. During the ceremony shortly after, there wasn’t a dry eye on the mountaintop. The rolling mountains and puffy white clouds served as the perfect background for the couple to exchange vows. The Castle in the Clouds Estate boasts gorgeous scenery, as does the Carriage House where the bride and groom celebrated their new union. Family and friends snapped photos, shared stories, danced and laughed. Our favorite part of the evening was when Matthew and Tricia shared their first dance to Jason Mraz’, ‘I’m Yours,’ all these years after seeing it performed live on their first date back in 2012. It was an honor to be there at the very beginning of what will be a beautiful lifetime relationship.
