Lori and Derrick’s rainy-day wedding was bright, despite the threatening clouds and light rain during the outdoor ceremony. Thankfully, the bright smiles and joyful energy of the bride and groom provided enough sunshine to illuminate the ceremony. It was our privilege to capture such a gorgeous rainy-day wedding.
It Began with Margaritas
Derrick and Lori met online while she was on vacation. They were so excited to meet for the first time that they gathered for margaritas in Salem, NH the same night that she returned. While Lori thought it would be a quick date, they closed down the place together as the conversation kept flowing. A year and a half after their relationship began, Derrick proposed to Lori and she gleefully accepted. Their wedding was a glorious reflection of their happiness and family.
The ceremony took place at The Evergreen Pavilion at Candia Woods in Candia, NH. Despite the weather, Lori was determined to marry amidst the lush greenery, so the guests headed outdoors for a spirited rainy-day wedding. Once rings were exchanged, everyone retreated indoors to enjoy a cocktail hour, delicious food, family time and plenty of dancing. Thank you for including us in your rainy-day wedding, Lori and Derrick!
