While we enjoy capturing the excitement of wedding days, there is something special about engagement sessions. Getting to know the couple before the hustle and bustle of the wedding day is always a pleasure, and this Portsmouth engagement session between Joe and Emalyn was no different.
It All Began in Philadelphia
Joe and Emalyn met after she moved to Philadelphia and wanted to get to know people in the area. Luckily, she stumbled upon Joe on the app Bumble and they decided to grab drinks together. The night that they gathered for drinks, Emalyn was tempted to cancel their date because she was exhausted and Joe almost canceled because he worked a 12-hour day. However, both were very happy that they didn’t! Instead of grabbing one drink, it turned into a few rounds, and the happy couple planned another date a few days later.
The couple enjoys spending time together relaxing on the weekends with plenty of donuts and coffee. Joe and Emalyn also love spending time riding their bikes and exploring local neighborhoods.
A Beautiful Portsmouth Engagement Session
As you can tell from their photos, Joe and Emalyn love coffee! For their Portsmouth engagement session, they spent time wandering and exploring downtown, enjoying a cup of coffee (at Cup Of Joe) and time spent with each other. It was a lovely afternoon spent with a loving, enthusiastic couple.
