About Rick
A native of Manchester, I have been a photography enthusiast since I was a child. Inspired by my father Rene, a photographer and fine artist himself, I began to follow in his footsteps when I got a Kodak "Brownie" camera at age 10.
I have studied at the Manchester Institute of Arts and Sciences and expanded my knowledge of photography, composition and image control via internet classes and through the help of fellow photographers.
In 2003 I participated in the America 24/7 project, an extraordinary digital photography project that harnessed the talents of more than 25,000 local photographers in all 50 states. During the course of a single week, this team of inspired amateurs, students, top photojournalists and great newspaper photographers including 36 Pulitzer Prize winners created a visual time capsule of American life. My pictures from this project were published in the New Hampshire 24/7 book, a visual journey through the great state of New Hampshire.
A lover of the great outdoors, I spend my free time hiking, biking, snowboarding. I reside in Candia, New Hampshire with my wife Debra and son Aaron. Debra & I own and operate Graphic Consumer Services, a printing and promotional company.
